MemorialJuniorSchool’s professional staff of over 60 teachers offers a comprehensive academic program that meets the diverse needs of its youngsters.We believe we have an outstanding middle school that promotes the intellectual achievements of students in a caring, sharing, positive, and productive learning environment.The programs of study place strong emphasis on academic achievement, computers as a tool for learning, technology instruction, appreciation for and participation in the visual and performing arts, physical fitness, and respect for the rights of all people.
Our diverse school programs also include after school clubs, varsity and intramural athletics, enrichment programs, a special education program, an accelerated math program that includes algebra, an environmental educational experience at FairviewLakeYMCA, and world languages (French/Spanish).Our facilities feature a state of the art instructional media center, two computer laboratories, music wing, cafeteria, auditorium, science laboratories, two gymnasiums, and athletic fields.
MemorialJuniorSchool students consistently achieve high scores on standardized tests and the New Jersey Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (NJASK) tests.Students regularly participate in Morris County School Consortium events including:Brain Bowl, Forensics, Debate Club.Students also participate in intramural and varsity athletics, music concerts, and a school musical.
